Cloudy Thoughts

Laying there, eyes squeezed shut, his face clouded my thoughts. I had once heard someone say "You will never forget the face of the person who was your last hope.." How that struck me as one of the most accurate phrases, a lot of phrases were bullshit, such as "It gets better. Truly it does not get better for me or most, it continues to get worse until we are completely numb or end the emotions and feelings. His face back in my head again, he was once the hope I wouldn't have to be numb forever.
